Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church was led to fulfill a clothing need in the community. OUR MISSION is to meet the needs of individuals, including those of our Congregation, Church Community and others in the Houston Area. MATTHEW 25:36 serves as a guide for us: “I was naked and you clothed me.”

The Clothes Closet was re-established in late 2007 with a group of volunteers formed as the Clothing Ministry. We are located in the White House across from the Church, 7030 Tierwester Street. The Ministry seeks to meet spiritual needs through prayer and witnessing.  

The House consists of Men, Women, and Children rooms. Suits, shirts, casual wear, shoes, under garments, uniforms, backpacks and other basic items are needed to fulfil the needs of our clients. We request that donations be in good condition, clean and on hangers or neatly folded.

Bibles and other spiritual materials are made available to individuals at no cost. Special operational hours are made available for the Substance Abuse, Umbrella House, Missionary Village Apartments, HAWC, and to accommodate emergency requests.
